I get yeast infections a few times a year. Over the years I can relate it  to either hormone BC's or just normal flucations in my own hormones. After my latest period, my Lunette has finally shown the familiar yellowing which i've heard about on here. When my period ends, what I do is that I take my cup and boil it in the microwave in a solution consisting of water and a few drops (no more than 5) tea tree oil. It seems to work, but is it safe to do this?

I rubbed it with rubbing alcohol... would that make it clean?
